My doctor recommended Shoprider mobility scooters for my husband that is having trouble walking. He felt like he couldn’t keep up with our kids and grandkids. He wanted a scooter that was very lightweight and not one of the big, bulky ones. So far he has had to trouble to adjust to using this scooter at all. I can’t say enough good things about how much this scooter has helped our family. I am still pretty agile but if I ever need help moving I will get a shoprider scooter in the future too. Also the price is phenomenal when mobility scooters can cost an arm and a leg.

Last summer I purchased this scooter for my grandfather. He loves zooming around on it. Its very light so it is great for elderly individuals who cant lift much. So far I have heard nothing but good things from him on this purchase. The only thing I will say is you should check the weight limit before buying. He is almost 250 lbs and it works fine but for larger people it may not be enough capacity.
